Ashe County Schools are excited to include the 21st Century Learning Center Grant to provide ACS Afterschool Program.
Staff have spent numerous hours planning an unforgettable school year for your children. While they are taking part in unique experiences and adventures, participants will also be expanding their knowledge, developing interpersonal skills, and making lasting friendships and memories.This program is currently free to all participants. This is subject to change depending on the grant resources.

Enrichment (this includes a theme and are NC Standards activities planned by coordinators)The overall goal is for students that participate in Afterschool to grow as a whole child through academics, social well-being, personal enrichment, community relationships, while providing a safe and nurturing environment with many choices. We will partner with local agencies such as the State Parks, Cooperative Extension, Local Government and Law Enforcement, Sports Teams, Parks and Recreation, Wilkes Community College, GEAR Up and more to grow and connect our community to our students and families.
